Perry L. Woolridge, age 66, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center, HFAM 7, Danville. He was a resident of his home in South Centre Township for over 12 years.
Perry was born on Saturday, April 11, 1959 in Berwick, a son of the late Benjamin F. and Geraldine (Kitchen) Woolridge, Sr. He attended the Bloomsburg area schools. On June 3, 2000, Perry married his loving wife, the former Carol S. Harrington. For 23 years, he was employed by Don E. Bower Construction, Berwick as a laborer until his retirement. Perry was a member of the Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, Bloomsburg. Perry enjoyed spending his time, being an avid hunter, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was devoted to his wife Carol and his dog, Penny.
In addition to his parents, Perry was also preceded in death by five siblings: James M. Earnest, Lloyd P. Earnest, Dorothy J. Carr, Nancy R. Kreamer and Alice F. Woolridge.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 25 years: Carol S. Woolridge of Bloomsburg; three step children; Jasmine M. Sheatler and husband Michael of Orangeville, Jason R. Holloway and wife Laura of Orlando, FL, Joshua C. George of Mount Carmel; four grandchildren; Kendra, Zach, Brandon and Tristan; one great granddaughter: Remington; five siblings: Benjamin F. Woolridge, Jr. and wife Cyndi of Centerville, GA, Leroy E. Woolridge, Denise P. Woolridge and fiancée John Young, Frank D. Woolridge and wife Nadia and Jane M. Colon and husband John all four of Bloomsburg, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Chuck Chamberlain, Bloomsburg Southern Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Woolridge family.
