Paul R. "Ted" Bowman, age 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday morning, September 1, 2022, at his Mt. Pleasant Twp. home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Friday, November 17, 1933 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Paul W. and Florence A. (Rinker) Bowman. Ted graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1951. Ted faithfully served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1956. On August 30, 1958, Ted married his loving wife, the former H. Jane Davis.

Ted was self-employed as an automobile auctioneer. He was a member of the Orangeville United Methodist Church, and also a member of the member of American Legion Post 564, Millville. He and his wife Jane started the Forever Green Christmas Shop and Tree Farm on their property outside of Lightstreet in 1987. Together they spent winters in Estero, FL for many years and enjoyed traveling with their motorhome across the country.

In addition to his parents, Ted was also preceded in death by daughter, Amy Jane Thomas in 1996, and a sister, Barbara Lee.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 64 years, H. Jane Bowman, and a daughter, Lessie A. Bowman and husband Ray J. Klingler of Bloomsburg.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Bowman family.
