Paul E. Boudman, Jr., age 81, of Mainville, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, February 17, 2023, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on Monday, September 15, 1941 in Berwick, a son of the late Paul E. and Geraldine (Derr) Boudman, Sr. Paul graduated from the Berwick High School in 1959. He faithfully served his country in the United States Marine Corp. during the Vietnam War attaining the rank of Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1967.
Paul married his loving wife, the former Eileen P. Hughes who preceded him in death on March 6, 2011. For over 15 years, Paul was employed by Dillon Floral, Bloomsburg until his retirement in 2020. Previously he was employed as a cook at The Buckhorn Truck Stop for over 20 years. Paul was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church, Mainville, he was also a member of the 3rd Marine Division Association, The Disabled American Veterans, The Marine Corps League, and the American Legion Post 273, Bloomsburg. Paul enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, cooking, volunteering for the Animal Resource Center fund raising events, writing poetry and sharing a good joke with anyone. He mostly loved and was very proud of his only grandson, Tyler.
In addition to his parents, and wife, Paul was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward Boudman.
Survivors include his two beloved children: Andy H. Boudman, Nancy J. Chulock and her husband Raymond P., a grandson, Tyler P. Chulock, a sister, Carol Melito, and his best friend and partner, Bonnie Cosper, all of Bloomsburg. He dearly adored his two pet labrador retriever dogs, Ashley and Buddy, who had passed away, and his cat Jack at home.
Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Boudman and Chulock families.
