Patricia M. (Brennan) Rosario, age 48, of Mifflinville, died on Sunday morning, February 2, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family, and under the care of the Columbia Montour Home Hospice. Tricia had battled courageously against ill health for the past seven years.
Tricia was born on Wednesday, June 16, 1965 in Philadelphia, the daughter of the late John F. Brennan III and Elizabeth (Witsch) Brennan of Bloomsburg. Throughout her younger years, Tricia attended and graduated from the Central Columbia High School in 1983. She furthered her education after graduating from the Empire Beauty Academy. On June 18, 1988, Tricia met and married her loving husband, James M. Rosario. For over 30 years, Tricia was employed as a Trust Clerk with the First Columbia Bank & Trust Company until her health would not allow. She was a devoted member of the St. Columba Catholic Parish in Bloomsburg. Tricia was also a social member of the Bloomsburg American Legion Post #273.
Tricia loved spending family vacations with her two sons, husband and friends in the Carolinas and especially enjoyed being outside for all of their summer time activities with her family and friends. Most of all, she will be remembered for her love of the summer days, and gardening at her home. She will be deeply missed and remembered by all who knew her.
Survivors include her loving husband of over 25 years, James M. Rosario; two sons: Mitchel J. and Colton J. Rosario, at home; a sister: Elizabeth "Beth" Brennan of Bloomsburg and a brother: John F. Brennan IV and wife, Christine, of Berwick.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening, February 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin on Thursday morning, February 6 at 10 a.m. from the St. Columba Catholic Church, 342 Iron and Third Street, Bloomsburg with Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence, as celebrant. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
