Pamela A. Onisick, age 59, of Third Street, Lime Ridge, died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her residence under the care of Columbia Montour Home Hospice. She was a resident of her home in Lime Ridge for the past two months and for 28 years resided on Old Berwick Road in Bloomsburg.
She was born on Saturday, April 7, 1951, in Shenandoah, a daughter of the late Sidney and June Chickchinni Wentworth. She attended the J.W. Cooper High School. She was most recently employed by Emmanuel Nursing Center for two years and also the Berwick Retirement Center for over 14 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Parish in Bloomsburg.
She was preceded in death by a son: Robert M. Onisick, Jr. on March 27, 2003 and also a brother: John Wentworth.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 44 years, Robert M. Onisick; a son: Richard Onisick and wife, Paula J., of Lime Ridge; five grandchildren; a sister: Mary Paululis and husband, Charles, of Mahanoy City; three brothers: Ronald Wentworth and wife, Grace; Edward Wentworth; and Sydney Wentworth and wife, Linda, all of Shenandoah.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 5 at 11 a.m. from the St. Columbia Catholic Church, Third and Iron Street in Bloomsburg with Very Rev. Francis Tamburro, celebrant. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Graveside Services will be held in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy.
