Olive Blanche Hall, age 92, passed away on December 4, 2008 at Berwick
Retirement Village where she had resided since April, 2003. She had
formerly lived at Bloomsburg Towers and on Port Noble Drive, Bloomsburg.Blanche was born January 26, 1916 in Briar Creek, the daughter of the
late Raymond and Pearl (Mourey) Farrell. Most of her working life she
was employed by Racusin's Clothing Store, Bloomsburg.Blanche was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg. She
was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and
Daughters of American Colonists.On November 18, 1994 she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph
Hall whom she married in 1933; a sister: Helen Creasy and four brothers:
Edward, Fred, Thomas and David Farrell. Blanche was the last member of
her immediate family.Survivors include a son: Raymond Hall and his wife, Ernalene,
Coudersport; a daughter: Gladys Jean Dohl, Danville; seven grandchildren;
ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Memorial services will be held in May, 2009. For those wishing, memorial
