Nurjahan B. Mondol, age 93, of Bloomsburg, died on Monday, May 3, 2021, at her Scott Twp. home. Nurjahan was a resident of Bloomsburg for over 32 years.
She was born on Saturday, January 21, 1928 in Bangladesh, a daughter of the late Samiruddin and Akimunnessa Pramanik. She was preceded in death be her husband, Hayat Ali Mondol on November 26, 1988.
Survivors include her seven children; daughter, Shahera K. Afza of Bloomsburg, son, Zahid Hassan Mondol and wife Tabassum of Hatfield, daughter, Laila N. wife of Samsul A. Khan of Bloomsburg, son, Saiful I. Mondol and wife NurunNahar of Plymouth, daughter, Farida Y. wife of AbdulHamid Kazi of Bloomsburg, son, Rubayed J. Mondol and wife Husneara of Bloomsburg, son, Ferdous J. Mondol and wife Hossnera of Bloomsburg, 19 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Mondol family.
