Norman F. "Buck" Buckley, age 61, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at his home.
He was born on Wednesday, November 30, 1960 in Putnum, CT a son of the late Norman Buckley, Sr. and Joann (Bousquet) Flagg. Norman graduated from the William Tennent High School, Warminster, PA. After graduation he skipped out on professional baseball to join the United States Marine Corp., where he faithfully served three years and was medically discharged at age 25. He loved fishing, outdoors, small trips and a great poker game. He enjoyed gymnastics, baseball and football.
In addition to his parents, Norman was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lori Devolve and Lila Candell.
Survivors include his daughter, Breanna P. Buckley Berg and husband Daulton Berg of North Port, FL, a son, Brian Buckley and his significant other, Carolline Kosmider of Chicago, IL, three grandchildren, Arianna Berg, Emmalynn Berg, Grayson Berg, six brothers, Jimmy Buckley, Rob Buckley, David Flagg, Michael Flagg, Joe Flagg, and Ron Flagg.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at a later date at a National Cemetery in FL where his daughter and grandchildren reside. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Buckley family.
