Nicole A. Troup, age 26, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. She had been bravely battling leukemia for the last 2 years.
Nicole was born on Saturday, February 25, 1995, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Denny Lee and Tamsen (Parker) Troup. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 2013. Nicole was previously employed as a DSP by CSG in Bloomsburg. She has a son RJ who was her driving light until the end. Nicole enjoyed many things during her lifetime. She enjoyed playing cards with brother and sister even through it usually ended in an argument. As a child she enjoyed seeing the racehorses at the fairgrounds with her pappy. She learned to sew and crochet from her gram and loved to visit her cousins in Delaware during Easter vacation. She enjoyed playing Sims on her computer and game night with her friends. She loved writing stories and watching movies especially with her favorite actor Sebastian Stan.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; Lloyd and Eleanor (Rishel) Troup and a maternal grandfather, Lance Parker.
Survivors include her beloved parents, Denny Lee and Tamsen Troup of Bloomsburg, son, RJ Michael Gibbs, Jr., brother, Jordan Troup of Bloomsburg, sister, Megan Troup of Bloomsburg, maternal grandparents, Steve and Ginger Bartholomew of Stillwater, three uncles, Terry Troup of Turbotville, Alex Bartholomew of Stillwater, Michael Parker of Williamsport, three aunts, Billie Jo DeBrosse of Milford, DE, April Troup of Turbotville, and Cathy Long of Milton.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will begin on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Chuck Chamberlain, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Troup family.
