Nancy R. Kreamer, age 60, of Bloomsburg, died Wednesday evening, May 16, 2012 as a patient of Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Nancy, formerly of Numidia Drive in Catawissa, had been battling health challenges for the past few years.
Nancy was born on Friday, January 18, 1952 a daughter of the late Geraldine (Kitchen) Woolridge, and also raised by her step-father the late, Benjamin Woolridge. Throughout her early life, she attended schools in the Bloomsburg Area. In addition to caring for her family, she also worked outside the home as a cook. She was employed most recently by the T/A Truck Stop restaurant in Buckhorn and also employed by the former Hi-Ho Restaurant on Route 11 in Bloomsburg for many years.
In 2006, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harmon Kreamer. Also preceding her were three siblings, Paul Earnest, Dorothy Carr and Alice Woolridge.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise Woolridge of Bloomsburg; a grandson, Benjamin Woolridge also of Bloomsburg; and six siblings: Benjamin Woolridge and wife, Lucinda, of Warner Robins, GA; James Earnest of Pontiac, MI; Edward Woolridge; Perry Woolridge and wife, Carol; Frank Woolridge; and Jane Colon and husband, John, all of Bloomsburg and also her long-time personal care giver, Frances Lopez.
At the request of the family and the deceased, all services will be held privately for the family. Funeral arrangements for the Kreamer family are under the care and direction of the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
