Obituary

Nancy Mae (Keller) Harris, age 79, of Bloomsburg, died on Tuesday morning, March 1, 2016, at the home of her son in Fleetwood. Nancy was a resident of Bloomsburg, Buckhorn and Almedia for many years.
Nancy was born on Saturday, January 16, 1937 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Avery L. and Katherine (Crossley) Keller. Throughout her younger years, Nancy attended the Millville area schools, and later graduated from the Millville High School in 1955. Nancy expanded her education by attending nursing school in Washingtonville earning her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse. For over 25 years, Nancy was employed by Geisinger Medical Center as an LPN in the nursery until her retirement in 1999. Nancy was a former member of the Shiloh Bible Church and the Ridge Street United Methodist Church.
Nancy loved the Lord Jesus Christ and she studied the Word daily. She was a bold servant unto the Lord and one of her favorite verses was II Samuel 22:33,34 "It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect. He makes my feet like the feet of a deer and enables me to stand on the heights." Her joy was her family and family gatherings were especially dear to her as she relished being near her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was delighted in the arrival of any expected grandchild. She was very happy and proud to announce the coming arrivals of her expanding family. In her past time, she enjoyed drawing and was an artistic inspiration to her children.
