Nancy (Troy) Houser, 90, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, a resident of the Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Health Center in Berwick.

Nancy was born on Thursday, August 22, 1935 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Donald and Alice (Gillaspy) Troy. She graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1953. On October 6, 1955, Nancy married the love of her life, Richard L. Houser, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2010. For many years, she was employed as an administrative assistant at the Bloomsburg Water Co. and worked for U.S. Radium in the 1960's. Nancy loved to sing and was a member of the Bloomsburg Bicentennial Choir, as well as her church choir at the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ. Nancy enjoyed spending her time bowling with the Moose Ladies League, gardening, and making ceramics. She was known for her exceptional baking that she shared with her friends and family.

Survivors include her beloved children: Morris R. Houser and wife, Cindy, of Bloomsburg and Brian D. Houser and wife, Deborah, of Lime Ridge; her grandchildren: Brian C. Houser and wife, Michelle, of Mifflinville, Brandon M. Houser and wife, Valerie, of Berwick, Christa Escoto and husband, Kenny, of Berwick, and Faustino Rivera Goetzl and husband, Mike, of Philadelphia; five great grandchildren; and her sister, Betty Pegg.

In addition to her parents Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Houser. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Corey M. Houser.

A private celebration of Nancy's life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Houser family.
