Nancy A. (Glenn) Thomas, age 73, of Bloomsburg died on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family and under the care of Columbia Montour Home Hospice.
Nancy was born on Sunday, June 7, 1942 in Wilmington DE a daughter of the late Robert and Mildred (Rupp) Glenn. She graduated from the Millville High School in 1960 and completed her education upon graduation from Bloomsburg State Teachers College in 1963. After graduation Nancy married Donald D. Thomas of Bloomsburg.
Nancy Taught in the Danville School District. She retired from Penn Set of Bloomsburg where she was a proofreader for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Lightstreet United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband, Donald, are three daughters: Karen McKim and husband, Randall, of New Waterford OH; Patti Wheeler and husband, Robert, of Fallston MD and Amy Dower and husband, Charles, of Aldan PA. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and a brother: David Glenn and wife, Patricia, of Spring Grove, PA.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 26 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg. Funeral services will also begin on Friday morning, June 26 at 11 a.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., in Bloomsburg with, Rev. Jennifer Parks-Snyder, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Lightstreet Cemetery.
