Nancy C. Eves, age 82, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Nancy was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 45 years.
Nancy was born on Saturday, November 23, 1935 in Scranton, a daughter of the late William and Lois (Freer) Calhoun. Throughout her younger years, she attended the Bloomsburg area schools, and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1953. On November 21, 1962, Nancy married her loving husband, Keith M. Eves. She was last employed by Magee Carpet Company as a Secretary until her retirement in 1996. Nancy was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. Nancy enjoyed spending her time cooking, baking and reading. She loved spending time with her family and attending the Bloomsburg Fair.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was also preceded by a sister, Carol Hildebrandt and a brother, James Calhoun.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Keith M.Eves of Bloomsburg; son Steven J. Bright and wife Judith of Gotha, FL; daughter, Diana R. Eves of Bloomsburg; grandchildren, Justin Bright, Ashley Bright, Matthew Bright and wife Jacy, and Kevin Bright, brother in law, Foster Hildebrandt of Bloomsburg; and sister in law, Joanne Calhoun of Woolrich, PA.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Graveside committal services will be in Millville Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Eves family.
