Miriam E. "Mim" Kuziak, age 77, Kramer Hill Road, Benton, died Saturday, November 8 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville where she had been admitted October 25. Prior to moving to Benton five years ago with her daughter and son-in-law, Miriam lived at 576 W. Main St., Bloomsburg for forty-four years. Miriam had been in ill health for two years.Miriam was born February 7, 1931 in Centralia the daughter of the late George and Bessie (Wills) Getty. She was a 1949 graduate of Con-Cen High School, Aristes.Miriam was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bloomsburg.Miriam was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Paul J. Kuziak, March 8, 2003 and a sister: Jean Fisher in 1981.Survivors include three daughters: Shelley Kuziak, Bloomsburg, Holly Steinruck and her husband Ronald, Benton and Lori Kuziak, Ephrata, two grandchildren: Nathan and Kaylee Steinruck; two sisters: Eleanor Searls, Kulpmont, PA and Beverly Weikel and her husband, Charles, E. Brunswick, NJ; by three brothers: Earl Getty and his wife, Trudy, E. Brunswick, NJ, Donald Getty and his wife, Sandra, Stevens, PA and Gerald Getty and his wife Pauline, Kulpmont, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be Thursday, November 13 at 11A.M. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg, with her pastor, Rev. Jay Jones officiating. Friends will be received Thursday from 10 A.M. until time of service. Burial will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Numidia.
