Mickey M. Moyer, Sr., age 63, of Bloomsburg, died on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at his home in Scott Township where he had lived for the past 8 years.
Mickey was born on Saturday, August 13, 1955, a son of the late Harold M. Moyer and Shirley Jones of Ohio.
In 2005 Mickey married his loving wife the former, Linda L.(Boyer) Vayda, who survives. For many years, Mickey was employed by area restaurants as a cook; Denny's, Arthur Treachers, Long John Silver's, Good Old Days. He attended the Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, spending time with his dog, watching 1950's television, and he was a collector and framer of pictures.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his beloved wife: Linda L. Moyer of Bloomsburg, two sons: Mickey M. Moyer, Jr. and and wife, Sarah, and, Christopher Moyer and wife, Amber, both of OH, twin brother, Rickey L. Moyer and fiance, Donna Whitmire, and brother Craig Moyer and wife, Leanna, both of Bloomsburg; four grandchildren: Isaiah Jones, Myleigh Moyer, Jackson Moyer, and Lincoln Moyer, and his step mother, Renee Moyer of Bloomsburg.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Glad Tidings Assembly of God, 706 Central Rd., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will continue at 11:00 am , with his pastor, Rev. John Kolenda, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Canby Lutheran Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Moyer family.
