Michael Leroy "Mike" Vial, age 52, of Bloomsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, November 23, 2021, at his home of a heart attack.

He was born on Friday, January 17, 1969 in Bloomsburg, a son of Philip L. and Carole J. (Bason) Vial. Mike attended the Bloomsburg Area High School. On August 8, 2008, Mike married his loving wife, the former Kristi L. Gerst. He always worked in the construction field and for the past 3 years, Mike was employed by BK Construction, Benton as a construction worker. Mike was a social member of The Sons of the American Legion, Post 273, Bloomsburg. He enjoyed spending time riding motorcycles, working on his cars and truck, going to car shows and setting up his train sets for Christmas. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 13 years, Kristi L. Vial, his parents; Philip L. and Carole J. Vial of Bloomsburg, four children; Amanda R. Thorpe and husband Nicholas of Catawissa, Logan M. Vial of Bloomsburg, Kaden P. Vial of Bloomsburg, Carly R. Vial of Bloomsburg, five grandchildren; Hayden K. Thorpe, Ethan J. Thorpe, Conner L. Vial, Mason N. Thorpe, Reese N. Thorpe, a brother; William E. Vial of Bloomsburg, and a niece, Gracie A. Wehner.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg.
