Michael G. "Mike" Hresko, age 74, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Mike was a resident of his home in Bloomsburg for over 47 years.

He was born on Friday, October 28, 1949, in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Michael J. and Josephine E. (Lachat) Hresko. On December 19, 1981, Mike married his loving wife, the former Debra K. Miller who preceded him in death on September 6, 2016. For over 37 years, Mike was employed by Bloomsburg Mills, Inc. as a mill worker until the plant closed. He was a life member of the Bloomsburg Moose Lodge, the N.R.A., the Bloomsburg Fire Department, the Bloomsburg Fireman's Relief Association and the Bloomsburg Ambulance Association. He enjoyed playing lottery scratch-offs and grocery shopping for gas points.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he also was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Palmer.

Survivors include his beloved son, Michael J. Hresko of Bloomsburg, two siblings: David J. Hresko of Berwick and Anna Hresko of Hughesville.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Hresko family.
