Mercurio J. Bruno, age 71, of Catawissa, died on Sunday, March 11, 2012 surrounded by his family at home, and under the care of Columbia Montour Home Hospice. Mercurio was born on Sunday, July 28, 1940 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 17 at 10 a.m. from Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 304 Slabtown Road, Catawissa with Rev. Thomas I. Mannion, celebrant. Friends will be received on Saturday just prior to the Mass. Graveside services will follow in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg with Military Honors provided by the Catawissa VFW Post #8306.
