Megan Elizabeth Dilick, age 22, of Millville, died on Monday morning, November 5, 2013 at the Geisinger Medical Center Emergency Room in Danville following an automobile accident.
Megan was born on Monday, June 3, 1991 in Kittanning, Pennsylvania a daughter of Stephen R. Dilick of Danville and Donna L. Williams of Millville. Megan completed her high school education after graduating from Millville High School in 2009. During her high school years, she was active with the field hockey team and also a member of the National Honor Society. Following her high school education, Megan attended and graduated from Bloomsburg University's Nursing Program as a Registered Nurse in May of this year. Immediately following her graduation, she became employed by the Geisinger Medical Center as a Registered Nurse on third shift in the Cardiac Telemetry Department. Megan was also formerly employed by Cracker Barrel in Buckhorn for several years. She was currently a member of the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church. Megan was very dedicated to her studies and also a very hard worker, but when time allowed she loved to spend time outdoors hiking, fishing, and somehow always getting her feet wet on those excursions with her father. She will always be remembered by her family and friends as someone with a positive attitude, a beautiful smile, and always laughing, bubbly, and happy in life.
Surviving in addition to her parents, are paternal grandparents: Gabriel and Betty (Dougherty) Dilick of Kittanning; a maternal grandmother: Cathy (Kirkpatrick) Williams; two sisters: Whitney and Sydney Dilick of Millville; a brother: Quinn Eppley-Dilick and wife, Michelle Westfall, of Radford, VA; and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and life-long friends.
A time of Visitation for friends and family will be held on Sunday evening, November 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 W. Main at Railroad Street, Millville.
Funeral services will be held on Monday morning, November 11 at 10 a.m. at the Emanuel Dutch Hill Bible Church, 592 Dutch Hill Road, Bloomsburg with her pastor, Rev. George Allen Zerbe, officiating.
