Maxine D. Kase, age 87, of Danville, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Maxine was a resident of her home in Hemlock Twp. for over 63 years.

She was born on Saturday, February 27, 1932 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Ernest and FannyBell (Evans) Shultz. On September 23, 1950, Maxine married her loving husband, Robert H. Kase, who preceded her in death on November 16, 2009. Maxine was employed by Edwards Bakery, Bloomsburg and later at Keller's Creamery, Northumberland. Maxine loved gardening, she also enjoyed traveling with family and friends to Mohegan Sun Casino, Wilkes Barre and going to yard sales. She was a very loving and generous woman who cared deeply for her family.

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Shultz, and Harry Shultz.

Survivors include her two sons, Robert D. Kase and wife Amy, Jerry L. Kase, and a daughter, Betty A. Winters all of Danville, three granddaughters, Penny S. Chorba, of Bloomsburg, Ronda J. Winters of Danville, Rebecca J. Kase of Danville, a grandson, Michael J. Kase of Danville, a great granddaughter, Jerrika S. Chorba of Bloomsburg, a great grandson, Logan J. Chorba of Bloomsburg, two sisters, Betty Bowman of Bloomsburg, and Charlotte wife of Kenneth Girton of Danville.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Kase family.
