Matilda Kathryn Fabian, age 15, of Bloomsburg, passed away in her sleep peacefully on Saturday, January 5, 2019, at her home in Bloomsburg. Matilda was a life long resident of Bloomsburg.

Matilda was born on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 in Bloomsburg, the daughter of Mary Kay (Snyder) Fabian and Howard James Fabian, both of Bloomsburg.

As a Bloomsburg High School student, Matilda was active in Cheerleading and Kindness Club and was a former swimmer and field hockey player. She loved spending time with her family and friends and was known for her kindness and infectious smile.

Matilda was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather: Thomas M. Snyder and paternal grandfather: Howard F. Fabian.

Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandmother: Susan N. Snyder of Coal Township and paternal grandmother: June O. Fabian of Shamokin.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg with her Great Uncle Rev. Chester Snyder, St. Margaret Mary Parish, Harrisburg officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg.
