Obituary

Maryalice C. Breisch, age 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, a patient of the Emmanuel Nursing Center in Danville.

She was born on Sunday, December 24, 1933 in Berwick, a daughter of the late Ariel and Florence (Ashton) Wolfe. Maryalice graduated from the Berwick High School in 1951. On October 10, 1952, Maryalice married her loving husband, Warren B. Breisch who preceded her in death on September 26, 1994. For over 10 years, she was employed by Geisinger Medical Center Interim Staffing. Maryalice was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where she served on the Worship and Music Committee as well as a member of the Bible Study Group. She was also a member of the Bloomsburg Women's Civic Club, The Espy Women's Civic Club and The Business and Professional Women. She was an avid reader, loved traveling, playing cards, and enjoyed family time.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Maryalice was also preceded in death by her six siblings: Daniel E. Wolfe, Sr., Harry Wolfe, Charles Wolfe, Margaret Nuss, Phyllis Middleton, and Nancy W. Huber.

Survivors include her two beloved daughters; Rosemary A. Huber and husband David of Bloomsburg, Theresa Andrezze of Trabuco Canyon, CA, two grandchildren; Katie Yoder and husband Scott of Nescopeck, Dominick Andrezze of Lacey, WA, as well as several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Sandy Beck for her great care over the last four years to Maryalice.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, 123 Market St., Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Breisch family.
