Mary M. (Sauers) Creasy, age 88, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Mary was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 61 years.

She was born on Thursday, January 18, 1934, in Kingston, a daughter of the late Raymond J. and Mary M. (Sheerin) Sauers. Mary graduated from St. Mary's High School, Wilkes Barre in 1951. She expanded her education by graduating cum laude from Misericordia University in 1955, with a bachelor's degree in English, Social Studies and Music. On June 29, 1957, Mary married her loving husband, Dr. James B. Creasy, who preceded her in death on August 24, 2005. Mary was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Church, Bloomsburg. She was employed as a Secretary at St. Columba Catholic Church for ten years and The Catholic Campus Ministry, Bloomsburg for five years. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her two beloved children: son, Mark K. Creasy and wife Susan of Bloomsburg, daughter, Moira A. Dalton and husband Greg of Bloomsburg, a grandson, Adam H. Creasy and wife Kristy of Muncy, a granddaughter, Megan E. Spaide and husband Adam of Bloomsburg, five great-grandchildren, Tyler Creasy, Alyson Creasy, Tenley Creasy, Camdyn Spaide, Riley Spaide, and a brother, John R. Sauers and wife Lois of Bloomsburg.

Private services will be held with Rev. Richard J. Mowery, officiating with burial in New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Creasy family.
