Mary C. Reichart, age 95, of Orangeville, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at her home. Mary was a resident of her home in Orange Twp. for over 45 years.

She was born on Thursday, June 9, 1927 in Mainville, a daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha (Lynn) Slusser. Mary graduated from the former Mainville High School. On October 27, 1945, Mary married her loving husband, Barton R. Reichart who preceded her in death on December 24, 1993. Mary was a member of the Lightstreet United Methodist Church, The Lightstreet Garden Club, The former Lightstreet Grange, and The American Heart Association. She was an avid bird watcher, enjoyed completing many puzzles, she was a member of several pinochle card clubs, and she and her late husband traveled extensively all over the world.

In addition to her parents, and husband Mary was also preceded in death by a son, Donald B. Reichart, eight brothers, Wilbur Slusser, William Slusser, Fred Slusser, Norman Slusser, Paul Slusser, Charles Slusser, Ambrose Slusser, James Slusser, and four sisters, Elva Wolfe, Betty Walters, Ruby Slusser, Susan Slusser.

Survivors include her four beloved children: Ronnie L. Reichart and wife Joanne of Bloomsburg, Raymond B. Reichart and wife Lynn of Orangeville, Sandra K. Hendy and husband Martin of London, England, Cindy A. Reichart and husband W. Russell McNair of Wittman, MD, seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 28, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Pastor Becky Cuddeback, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Lightstreet Highland Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Reichart family.
