Mary Janet Parker, age 90, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 63 years.

Mary was born on Wednesday, March 27, 1935 in Danville, a daughter of the late Addison Wayne and Ruth May (Raup) Swank. She graduated from the Ralpho Township High School in 1953. For over 40 years, Mary was employed at the Bloomsburg Hospital, working her way up various administrative positions until her retirement in 1995. Mary was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, and she had previously served as a Columbia County Councilwoman. She enjoyed square dancing with Harold, spending time at the Bloomsburg Senior Center, and she loved knitting and crocheting. What brought her the most joy was time with her children and grandchildren traveling, camping, and taking trips to the shore.
