Mary P. Oman, 95, of Bloomsburg, passed away peacefully at her home in Mount Pleasant Township on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Mary was born on Wednesday, June 24, 1931 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Arnold K. and Margaret (Linn) Painter. She graduated from the Bloomsburg High School class of 1949. On August 5, 1950, Mary married her loving husband, Harvey R. Oman, who preceded her in death on December 11, 1995. For many years, Mary was employed by Dillon Floral as a secretary and later at Bloomsburg Health Care until her retirement in 1996. Mary was a member of the Canby Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the VFW Auxiliary, Post 804, Bloomsburg. Mary enjoyed spending her time reading books and doing puzzles.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was also preceded in death by son, Dale H. Oman, and step-brother, Jay Linn.

Survivors include her beloved daughter, Darla Welsh and husband, Ronald, of Bloomsburg, three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

A Private Graveside Committal Service will be held at the convenience of the family at Elan Memorial Park, Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Oman family.
