Mary A. Miller, age 74, of North Centre Twp., passed away peacefully at her home on Friday morning, September 23, 2022, with her loving family by her side.
She was born on Friday, May 28, 1948 in Somerville, NJ, a daughter of the late Herbert Martin and Helen Elizabeth (Lebitz) Plennert. Mary graduated from the Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ in 1966. Mary expanded her education by attending Garden State Beauty Academy, NJ and later Certified Nursing Assistant Training, PA. She was married to the love of her life, Richard C. Miller, who preceded her in death on October 21, 1989.
Mary was employed as a hairdresser at Hair Plus, Hillsborough, NJ and later owned her own beauty shop. Mary was also a Certified Nurse's Aide and Hospice Aide until her retirement. She loved gardening, flowers, music, dancing, sewing and quilting keepsakes for her family. She enjoyed baking & cooking authentic Hungarian dishes, her most favorite way of showing love was baking and cooking special meals for her children and grandchildren, especially for the holidays. Mary loved being a beautician but was most proud of her Hungarian heritage. She loved all of her pets over the years, especially her current dog Levi.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was also preceded in death by her beloved sister, Helen Oakes.
Survivors include her four beloved children: Anthony C. Zellers and wife Danielle of Hillsborough, NJ, Brett R. Miller of Berwick, Jarrett C. Miller and fiancée Justina Wolfinger of Bloomsburg, Ashlee R. Blagrave and husband James of Orangeville, six grandchildren, Anthony C. Zellers, Jr. Phebe Ann Blagrave, Olivia Jean Blagrave, James Richard Blagrave, Abigail Robyn Blagrave, Wyatt Richard Miller, as well as her niece and nephews. She will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Micah Felber, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Orangeville. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Miller family.
