Mary R. Kennison died on Monday September 26, 2022 in Lewisburg after a lengthy illness.

She was born July 13, 1938 to the late Kenneth G. Reinhart, Sr. and Catharine S. Reinhart, Wyalusing. Mary lived in New York, Florida, Colorado and Pennsylvania throughout her life.

A graduate of Wyalusing Valley High School and the Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing, Mary worked for many years as a Registered Nurse. Her caring nature made nursing the perfect career choice for her. She influenced both her sister and a niece to become nurses.

Mary was preceded in death by a son, Mark Kennison, and two brothers, Kenneth G. Reinhart, Jr. and John Reinhart.

Mary is survived by three sons: Kevin Kennison of FL, Don Kennison of NY and John Kennison of FL, three grandsons, two granddaughters, sisters Jane Glenn of Colorado and Carol (Chuck) Laudermilch of Lewisburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will begin on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11:30 am at the Wyalusing United Methodist Church, 85 Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Rev. Adam Barborich, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the Wyalusing Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Kennison family.
