Mary B. (Jenkins) Boyer, age 80, of Catawissa, passed away on Sunday evening, August 23, 2020, at her Catawissa Twp. home. Mary was a resident of Catawissa for over 48 years.

She was born on Tuesday, December 12, 1939 in Danville, a daughter of the late Charles "Hook" and C. Beatrice (Arnwine) Jenkins. Mary was a graduate of Danville High School. Mary was married to her loving husband, Richard Boyer who preceded her in death on August 11, 2005. For over 25 years, she was employed by Geisinger Medical Center as a patient transporter until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of Christ United Evangelical Lutheran Church, Catawissa, and a member of the Therapy Dog International.

Mary and her beloved dog, Daisy Mae spent many hours visiting people in various facilities spreading warmth and happiness wherever they went for many years. She enjoyed many years of camping with her husband Richard and their furbabies. She also enjoyed spending time with her family who will treasure the precious memories that will be with them always.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Mary was also preceded in death by a son, Steven R. Beach on April 25, 2019.

Survivors include her two children; a daughter, Lori A. wife of Douglas Breech of Catawissa, a son, Gregory W. Beach of Kosciusko, MS, two granddaughters, Mollie Breech, and Kimberly Cogswell, and two great grandchildren, Autumn Breech, and Blake Breech.

Private graveside services will be held in Hillside Cemetery at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Boyer family.
