Mary Louise (Henry) Livingston, age 92, of Danville, died on Monday morning, May 3, 2021, a resident of the Vintage Knolls in Danville, and under the care of Geisinger Hospice.

Mary Louise was born on Wednesday, May 16, 1928 in Danville, a daughter of the late William T. and Catherine M. (Mears) Henry. Throughout her younger years, Mary Louise attended and later graduated from the Danville area schools. Mary Louise was employed as a receptionist by the Eye Department of the Foss Clinic in Geisinger Hospital. Mary Louise married her loving husband, Herschel Neil Livingston of Kellyton, Alabama. They spent their married life of over 25 years in Ambler, Pa. After the loss of her husband she returned to Danville in 1983.

In addition to raising her family and caring for things at home, Mary Louise also enjoyed spending her time reading, and growing fresh beautiful flowers. Her family has fond memories of her talent at baking some of the most tasteful dishes. She was loved by many as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. In addition to her parents and her beloved late husband Herschel N. Livingston, Mary Louise was also preceded in death by four sisters: Frances Elizabeth Jacobs, Anna Mae Henry, Ruth Henry and Catherine Henry.

Survivors include her daughter, Janet Karczewski and husband, Tim, of Darlington, PA; a son, David Livingston and wife, Joanne, of Bloomsburg; a granddaughter, Anna; a great granddaughter, Irene; a great grandson, Joe, all of Bloomsburg; a granddaughter, Kaitlyn Karczewski; a granddaughter, Marta Karczewski; both of Darlington; a sister, Diane Henry of Danville; two nieces: Susan Cahill of Verona, NJ, and Melissa Carroll of Verona, NJ.

At this time there will be no public services for Mary Louise. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Livingston family.
