Obituary

Mary Elizabeth Bollinger, age 90, of Parkland, FL and formerly of Bloomsburg died on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, a patient of the Aston Gardens in Parkland.
Mary was born on Monday, March 7, 1927 in Proctor, PA a daughter of the late Rev. Harry F. and Celia E. (Speigelmire) Shoaf. Mary was a well known resident of Bloomsburg from 1955 until October, 2011, when she moved to Florida to be closer to her family. She was a member of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital Auxiliary and a life member of Bloomsburg O.E.S. #279.
In addition to her parents, Mary was also preceded by her husband Marlin Bollinger, Sr .
Survivors include her son, Marlin R. Bollinger and wife Pattra of Coral Springs, FL, granddaughters, Brandy Yska, Lisa Grasso, Jolie Tadrowski, Tara Duffy, Christa Tillis, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
A memorial service will begin on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church with Rev. Dr. Joel L. Zeiders, officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a reception immediately following the memorial service at Seasons On Main, 10 West Main St., Bloomsburg. Graveside committal services will immediately follow the reception in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Bollinger family.
