Mark A. Haney, age 51, of Harriet St., Bloomsburg, died Monday, January 24, 2011 in the Bloomsburg Hospital Emergency Room. Mark had been ill since late November.
Mark was born on Saturday, July 4, 1959 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Wayne E. "Mike" and Janice F Chappell Haney.
A 1978 graduate of the Bloomsburg High School, Mark was a 29 year employee of Kawneer. He worked in the extrusion department. He was an avid fan of the NFL Oakland Raiders football team and greatly enjoyed motorcycle riding.

Survivors include his brother: Michael J. Haney and wife, Stephanie, of Bloomsburg and two nieces, Libby and Allie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Clifton W. Haney on May 13, 2006.

Friends will be received Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., where services will be held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard D. Leonard, Mill-Green United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in New Rosemont Cemetery.
