Marion "Pat" John, age 98, a seven year resident of Harrisburg Grayson View and formerly of Bloomsburg died November 12, 2008 at the Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence affiliated with Hospice of Central PA.Pat was born October 2, 1910 in Lightstreet, the daughter of the late James and Emma (Faux) Patterson. She attended Bloomsburg High School.Pat was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Bloomsburg. She was a life member of the Bloomsburg Hospital Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Gerald E. "Dutch" John, January 30, 2000.Survivors include her son: James and his wife, Susan, Harrisburg; two grandchildren: Jamie and Katie and a great-granddaughter, Adrianna. Funeral services will be Monday, November 17 at 2 P.M. from the Allen Funeral Home, 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg, with The Rev. Joel L. Zeiders, St. Matthew Lutheran Church officiating. Friends will be received from 1 P.M. until time of service. Burial will be in Elan Memorial Park.
