Marie Neary, age 79, a former resident of 855 Beaver Valley Rd., died Saturday, April 24, in the Bloomsburg Health Care Center where she resided for two years. Prior she lived in Florida for many years and for six years resided with her son on Beaver Valley Road, Beaver Twp., Columbia County. Marie was born April 14, 1931 in Shenandoah a daughter of the late Warren and Mildred (Cornier) Gunderman. While a resident of Florida, Mrs. Neary was employed by Eckert Drugstore. She was of the Catholic faith. Preceding her in death was her husband, Ted Neary. Survivors include a daughter: Theresa Parish and husband, Raymond, of Mahanoy City; three sons: Norman L. Smith and wife, Bernadine with who she resided, John L. Smith and wife, Mary Ann, of Shenandoah and Warren W. Smith of Shenandoah, ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren; four sisters: Sylvia Barnhart of Florida, Evelyn Ulshaffer of Weston, Mildred Drumheller of Brandonville and Donna Lee of Florida; three brothers: Raymond Gunderman of Florida, Maurice Gunderman of California and Lewis Gunderman of White Haven. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Ringtown Cemetery.
