Marie E. (Fry) Keller, age 70, of Buckhorn, died on Thursday morning, December 4, 2014 a resident of the Geisinger-Bloomsburg Health Care Center for over a year.
Marie was born on Tuesday, April 25, 1944, a daughter of George and Arlene Fry. Throughout her younger years, Marie attended the Bloomsburg area schools and later graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1962. For many years, Marie served as a Lutheran Parish Secretary throughout the area. On July 1, 1978, Marie married her loving husband, Brian Keller of Buckhorn. She and her husband loved spending time together , having dinner at the local Buckhorn Truck Stop and also shopping together. Marie loved nothing more than spending time with her husband and her dog, "Happy".
Surviving in addition to her beloved husband of 36 years, Brian Keller, are a sister: Joanne Lutz of Buckhorn and an aunt and uncle: Paul Johnson and wife, Eleanor, of Turbotville.
Funeral services will begin on Wednesday morning, December 10 at 1 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg with Rev. Joel L. Zeiders of the St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Bloomsburg, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in Lime Ridge. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Keller family.
