Margaret Wenhold, age 85, of Bloomsburg, died on Friday, October 22, 2021, a resident of the Manor Care Nursing Home in Sunbury.

Margaret was born on Thursday, October 22, 1936 in Rockhill Furnace, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late William and Lena (Frey) Steich.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was also preceded by sons, John R. Wenhold and David Steich; brothers, Gary Steich, William Steich and Raymond Steich and sister, Mary Willhauer.

Survivors include her children: Harry W. Wenhold, Jr. of Pitman, Norman L. Wenhold of Atlas, Dennis L. Wenhold of Locust Gap, Leona M. Shutt of Kulpmont, Michael L. Wenhold of Benton, Margaret L. Wenhold of Muncy, Leonard B. Wenhold of Pitman, Kenneth Steich and wife, Rose of Pitman, Carol A. Hatter and husband, Leonard, of Hegins, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Margaret was the last member of her immediate family.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin at 10:30 am on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Richard J. Mowery, St. Columba Catholic Parish, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in the New Rosemont Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Wenhold family.
