Margaret A. "Peg" Witsch, of McGuire Park Drive, Bloomsburg, died on Tuesday, September 11, 2012, a resident of Orangeville Nursing & Rehab Center
Peg was born on Monday, July 28, 1941, a daughter of the late William R. and Kathryn (Kelly) Witsch. She graduated in 1959 from the West Catholic High School in Philadelphia. Throughout her working career, and most recently, she was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank in Philadelphia as an Administrative Secretary. She was a member of the St. Columba Catholic Church in Bloomsburg. Peg had a very special talent for needle crafts, knitting and crocheting, and loved spending time with her family.
In January of 2010, she was preceded in death by a sister, Regina Llewellyn.
Survivors include a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Brennan, of Bloomsburg and many nephews and nieces throughout the area.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, September 17, from 10 to 11 a.m. from the St. Columba Catholic Church, Third and Iron Streets, Bloomsburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held also on Monday, September 17 at 11 a.m. from the St. Columba Catholic Church with Monsignor Robert E. Lawrence, celebrant. Graveside services where Peg will be laid to rest will be held in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Espy. Memorial contributions in Peg's name are suggested to: St. Columba Catholic School, 40 E. Third Street, Bloomsburg, 17815. The Immediate family will provide flowers.
