Marc A. Haeussler, age 43, of Poplar Street, Bloomsburg, died on Sunday, July 17, 2011 at his residence under the care of Columbia Montour Home Hospice. Prior to living on Poplar Street, he was also a resident of his home on E. 9th Street for over five years.
Marc was born on Wednesday, September 27, 1967 in St. John's, New Foundland in Canada, a son of Robert Haeussler of Florida and Clorinda Haeussler of Georgia. He attended the Warwick High School in Warwick, New York. Throughout his entire working career, he was employed in the building trades as a carpenter, and most recently by Your Building Centers in Bloomsburg for the past five years.
In addition to his parents, Marc is survived by his beloved wife, Janus S. (Slifer) Haeussler, having been married on October 10, 1997; and a sister: Gwyn Posey of Georgia.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 22 from 4 to 6 p.m. from the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg. Memorial contributions in Marc's name are suggested to: Animal Resource Center, 301A Boone Road, Bloomsburg or PA Pets, 203 E. 5th Street, Bloomsburg.
