Luther N. "Luke" Ball, age 45, 567 Hetlerville Road, Nescopeck died at his residence June 12, 2010. Prior to moving to Nescopeck, he resided in Lime Ridge. Luke was born on Sunday, April 4, 1965 in Bloomsburg, the son of Patricia (Howard) Stulb and the late Fred A. Ball who preceded him in death on February 26, 2010. He attended Columbia Montour VoTech, and was a 1982 graduate of Mt. Calvary Christian Academy, Mahaffery, PA. He served in the U.S. Army. Luke was employed for twenty-one years by Del Monte Foods as a forklift operator. Luke attended Susquehanna Valley Revival Center, Bloomsburg and New Covenant Christian Center, Berwick. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his mother, Luke is survived by a daughter: Kasi, Doylestown, PA; a son: Daniel, Martinsburg, WV; a sister: Tracy Fenstemaker and her husband, Jim, Hazleton, a brother: Wade A. Ball, Berwick, grandmother: Meda Howard; step-father: Paul Stulb and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, June 17 at 7 P.M. from Susquehanna Valley Revival Center, 1338 Old Berwick Road, Bloomsburg, with Pastor Timothy Zimmerman officiating. There will be a visitation time after 6 P.M. prior to the service. The Ball family is being assisted by the Allen Funeral Home at 745 Market Street in Bloomsburg.
