Louise M. Evans , age 86, of Orangeville, died on Friday, March 24, 2017, at her home. She was surrounded by her family and under the care of Geisinger Columbia Montour Hospice.
Louise was born on Monday, April 28, 1930 in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late William and Ivy Mae (Cox) Mausteller. With her husband, Dewey Evans Jr., Louise assisted in the operation of Evans Disposal. Louise attended the Trinity United Methodist Church, Espy. She enjoyed spending her time shopping, visiting area casinos, and the beaches at Cape May and Ocean City, NJ.
In addition to her husband and parents, Louise was also preceded by son: Daniel R. Evans and siblings: Ruth Vought, Irene Whitfield, Ann Mackley, Myron Mausteller, Stanley Mausteller, Frank Mausteller.
Survivors include six children: Dave L. Evans (Julie Pitchford) of Bloomsburg, Dewey W. Evans, III (Debra A.) of Bloomsburg, Debra A. Albertson (Daniel Moser) of Nescopeck, Diane L. Benshoff (George Knapp) of Mifflinville, Douglas P. Evans (Patricia) of Bloomsburg, Denise M Melchiorre (Thomas) of Nescopeck: 12 grandchildren: 15 great grandchildren and two brothers: Dale Mausteller (Carol) of Cape Coral, Fl and Donald Mausteller (Betty) of Ocala, FL.
A time of Visitation for Family and Friends will begin on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:00 am at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St., Bloomsburg.
Funeral Services will begin at 11:00 am with her pastor,Caleb Fritz, officiating. Graveside committal services will immediately follow in New Rosemont Cemetery. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Evans family.
