Lorraine L. Weaver, age 59, of Danville, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Lorraine was a resident of her home in Valley Twp. for over 33 years.
Lorraine was born on Tuesday, February 24, 1959 in Sunbury, a daughter of Glenn Sr. and Wanda (Belk) Haupt of the Shamokin area. Throughout her younger years, she attended the Danville area schools, and later graduated from the Danville High School in 1977. On January 6, 1979, Lorraine married her loving husband, Glen A. Weaver. For over 7 years, she was employed by the former Kennedy Van Saun as a Secretary until her retirement in 1987. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northumberland and the former Valley Grange, Danville. Lorraine enjoyed spending her time cooking, baking and gardening.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her beloved husband of 39 years, Glen A.Weaver of Danville; a brother, Glenn "Skip" Haupt, Jr. of Riverside; a sister, Kathy Snyder of Danville; two nieces and two nephews.
A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday April 3, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 300 Queen St., Northumberland, PA.
Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, at 11:00 am in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Northumberland with Pastor Patricia Pittsnogle, officiating. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 107 West Main at Railroad St., Millville is honored to be serving the Weaver family.
