Lori A. (Bonacci) Scopelliti, 62, of Bloomsburg, passed away Monday, August 10, 2026 at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Berwick. Born in Hazleton on June 6, 1964, she was a daughter of the late Itlo and Marguerite (DeBellas) Bonacci.

Lori was a graduate of Hazleton Area High School, Class of 1982 and continued her education at Bloomsburg University, where she graduated with a degree in Accounting and went on to attain an MBA (Master of Business Administration). On August 24, 2002, she wed Joseph Scopelliti, with whom she would share 23 years of marriage. She was a long-time employee of Geisinger Health System, where she served as a financial analyst. Lori was a member of Saint Columba Catholic Church in Bloomsburg. She was a very active member of the Bloomsburg YMCA and loved baking and travelling. Her greatest joys, however, were times spent with her family and friends, who will fondly remember her perpetually positive attitude and radiant smile.

Surviving Lori are her beloved husband, Joseph Scopelliti; daughters: Christina Owings and husband, Brad, of Denver, CO and Angela King and husband, Eric, of Bloomsburg; grandchildren: Tyler and Riley Owings and Téa and Jonathan King; cousins: David and Michael Schlenker; mother-in-law, Estelle Scopelliti; sisters-in-law: Cindy Crimaldi and husband, Gary, Jeannie Kleman and husband, James, Estelle Kisthardt and husband, Dave; numerous nieces and nephews; and her sister Natalie.

In addition to her parents, Lori was preceded in death by aunt, MarySue Schlenker; and father-in-law, Eugene Scopelliti.

Lori’s services are private and at the convenience of her family with her interment at Elan Memorial Park in Bloomsburg. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. is honored to serve the Scopelliti family.
