Obituary
Lois M. Wright, age 50, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2023, a patient of the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Lois was a resident of her home in Bloomsburg for over 1 1/2 years.
She was born on Wednesday, August 8, 1973 in Berwick, the daughter of Robert and Mary Kay (Miller) Defrain. She attended the Berwick High School where achieved her GED. She was employed by Subway of Bloomsburg as a Manger. Lois was a member of the Bloomsburg Fire Department and collected donations for the carnival. Lois enjoyed collecting dalmatians and loved all kind of animals, she was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and an Elvis Presley fan. She loved her kids and grandkids and would help anybody if she could.
Survivors include her parents; Robert and Mary Kay DeFrain of Bloomsburg, mother; Esther Woerner of Orangeville; two daughters, Jorden Watkins and husband Austin of Seneca, SC and Tessa Lynn Anderson of Bloomsburg, four grandchildren; Robert of Bloomsburg, Sierra, Addison, and Winter of Seneca, SC, a sister, Pamela Temple of Berwick, a stepsister, Meghan Lazure of Bloomsburg, two nieces; Skyler and Kristen and a nephew; Brayden.
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street in Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Wright and DeFrain families.
