Lois A. McAndrews, age 66, of Orangeville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at her Orangeville home. Lois was a resident of her home in Orangeville for over 15 years and previously lived in Bloomsburg.
She was born on Saturday, February 27, 1954 in Meshoppen, a daughter of the late Alexander and Lillian A. (Ripley) Ottaviani. Lois graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1972. She married her loving husband, Paul Daniel McAndrews Jr., who preceded her in death on June 17, 2008. Lois was last employed by Love's Truck Stop, Mifflinville and had previously worked at First Columbia Bank and Trust Co., Bloomsburg. She attended Calvary Baptist Church, Lightstreet and she loved taking care of her dogs.
In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was also preceded in death by a brother, David Ottaviani.
Survivors include her daughter, Diana L. Schmeltzer, two grandsons, Ken M. Buck and wife Alexandra, Paul W. Schmeltzer, a great grandson Reid A. Buck all of Shamokin; three brothers, Daniel S. Ottaviani and wife Denise of Bloomsburg, Alexander C. Ottaviani and wife Audrey of Virginia Beach, VA, Timothy P. Ottaviani of Boerne, TX, son in law, Ron E. Schmeltzer of Virginia, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the McAndrews family.
