Lisa J. Giardiello, 59, of Bloomsburg, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on Thursday, May 4, 1967, in Trenton, N.J., Lisa was a daughter of the late Carl Rolewicz and Catherine (Rolewicz) Nemeth Clowar. On May 1, 1999, Lisa married her soulmate, Michael R. “Mike” Giardiello, sharing 26 beautiful years of marriage before his passing on November 17, 2025.

For many years, Lisa was employed as a registered nurse at NJ State Mental Hospital. Lisa was someone who loved her family deeply. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and her four dogs. Her family was her world, and she was not only a mother to her children, but also their best friend. She was always there for them, while also making sure to keep them in line when they needed it. Lisa will be remembered for the love she had for her family and the special relationship she shared with her children and grandchildren.

Lisa is survived by her beloved children: David A. Demarie and his fiancée, Amanda Brooking; Amanda Bankes and husband, Shawn, and George L. Demarie; her grandchildren: Paulina, Leah, Shawn Jr., George Jr., Bentley, Breeze, Gianna, Remley, Hailey, Kiana, Harlie, Maddie, Bella, Faith, Hope, Jordan, Trinity, and Billy; two great-grandchildren: Dalton and Hazel; as well as her brother, Gyulas Nemeth.

A celebration of Lisa’s life will be held Saturday, September 5th at 3 PM at Mike & Lisa’s house in Bloomsburg.
