Linda L. Snyder, age 63, of Bloomsburg, died Thursday evening, November 26, in the Geisinger Medical Center where she was admitted Tuesday. Linda was born on Monday, July 20, 1952, a daughter of Donzella (Hartman) Sitler of Almedia and the late George Sitler.
Linda completed her education upon graduation from Central Columbia High School in 1970.
For many years she worked as a clerk at the former American Auto Store on Main St., Bloomsburg. She was a member of the Rupert United Methodist Church.
Linda and her husband, Wayne R. Snyder would have celebrated 40 years of marriage in January.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are two sons: Timothy Snyder of Rupert and Michael Snyder of Hightstown NJ; a sister: Lori Kile and husband, Gordon, of Bloomsburg and a brother: Richard "Rick" Sitler of Catawissa. Linda had nieces that she regarded as her own daughters.
In addition to her father, Linda was preceded in death by a brother: Ryan Sitler in 2013.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be held Monday evening from 5 to 7 at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth St. Bloomsburg.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home with Pastor Lisa Mitchell officiation. Burial will be in Lime Ridge.
