Leroy C. Yocum, Sr., age 70, of Bloomsburg, passed away suddenly on Monday evening, February 15, 2021.
He was born on Monday, September 4, 1950 in Bloomsburg, a son of Doris (Small) Tomashefski of Bloomsburg and the late Carl Yocum. Leroy graduated from the Southern Columbia High School and served in the U.S. Army Reserves. For many years, Leroy was employed by Independence Ford, Bloomsburg as a mechanic until his retirement and also worked at other automotive garages in the area throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting and restoring cars.
Survivors include his beloved mother, Doris Tomashefski of Bloomsburg, three children, Lee Yocum and wife Mary Jo, Chris Yocum and wife Pam, Leigh Ann wife of Thad Billig, four grandchildren, and three sisters, Belinda J. Brosious of Berwick, Melinda G. Tomashefski of Bloomsburg, Cynthia wife of Jeff Mundorff of Ephrata.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Streets, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Yocum family.
