Leroy P. Creasy, age 80, of Espy, passed away on Friday, June 13, 2025, at his Scott Twp. home under the care of Geisinger Hospice and surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on Wednesday, April 18, 1945 in Bloomsburg, a son of the late Ralph W. and Marjorie J. (Gehringer) Creasy. Leroy graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1965. He faithfully served in the United State Coast Guard during the Vietnam War enlisting in 1965 and was honorably discharged in 1971. On March 24, 1972, Leroy married his loving wife the former, Deborah G. "Debbie" Gulliver. For over 30 years, Leroy was employed by ACF Industries, Milton and was last employed at Bloomsburg Mills for 10 years until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Espy he was also a member of the Espy Fire Company, a past member of the former Liberty Fire Company, and a member of Bloomsburg American Legion, Post 273. Leroy enjoyed camping for many years at Hidden Valley Campground, Mifflinburg, he also liked Lionel Trains, and doing odd jobs at the house like carpentry and fixing cars.

In addition to his parents, Leroy was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Creasy.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 53 years, Deborah G. "Debbie" Creasy, two sons, Patrick L. Creasy of Espy, Daniel P. Creasy of Centreville, VA, a sister, Peggy Holdren of Danville, and a sister-in-law, Marianne R. Creasy of Bloomsburg.

A time of Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg.

Funeral Services will begin on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Allen Funeral Home, Inc. with Rev. Gordon E. Smith, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, officiating. Graveside committal services will be held on Wednesday June 18, 2025 at 11:00 am in the New Rosemont Cemetery, Bloomsburg. Military honors will be provided by the Columbia County Honor Guard. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc., is honored to be serving the Creasy family.
