Leanne Austin, age 61, of Bloomsburg, passed away on Wednesday evening, July 16, 2025, at her home in Scott Township, surrounded by her loving family.

Leanne was born on Tuesday, October 8, 1963, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of Thomas Austin and Linda S. Wintersteen. She graduated from the Bloomsburg High School in 1981. Leanne expanded her education by attending King's College and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting. For over 38 years, she was employed by Mariano Construction, Inc. as an accountant and also was the former owner of the Texas Lunch Diner, downtown Bloomsburg. Leanne loved cheering for the Pittsburgh Steelers, cooking and baking, visiting the casino, played the fife as a teenager and college, dedicated to her work, loved watching shows: Colombo and Law and Order and most importantly loved her family, especially her daughter.

Survivors include her parents: Linda S. Wintersteen of Bloomsburg and Thomas Austin and wife, Mary Lou of Orangeville; her daughter: Natalie Austin and husband Joseph Yanochko III of Orangeville; her two siblings: Jerri Lynn Crawford and husband Scott of Bloomsburg, Roger Austin and wife Sandy of Elliottsburg; as well as four nieces and nephews: Christopher Crawford, Jacob Austin, Emily Bressler and Max Austin.

Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Allen Funeral Home, Inc. 745 Market at Eighth Street, Bloomsburg is honored to be serving the Austin family.
